Where are we going?
On July 4 2016, Dom and Tym left Toronto and rode across Canada to link up with Ben in Calgary, AB. The trio then headed North to Deadhorse, AK, where the journey really began on July 22, 2016.
Our adventures will take us through British Columbia, the U.S. Pacific coast and Central America. We will travel around the Darien Gap: a 160 km gap of undeveloped swampland and rain forest that divides North and South America. Once in South America, we will travel south along the west coast to before entering Argentina and pushing towards Ushuaia, widely considered the southernmost city in the world. The journey will end with a brief stint North to Santiago where the bikes will be sold or shipped home before we fly back to Canada: all by the end of the year. The trek will cover over 22,000 km and pass through 14 countries. Oh yeah, the journey is completely unsupported, meaning we carry own own kit, document and edit our own footage, and are our own mechanics (for the most part).
